Accounting III (14012)

Grade 11-12

Prerequisite: Accounting I and II

This course is designed to help the student acquire a more thorough, in-depth knowledge of accounting procedures and techniques utilized in solving business problems and making financial decisions. Students will develop skills in analyzing and interpreting information common to partnerships and corporate forms of organization, preparing formal statements and supporting schedules, and using inventory and budgetary control systems. Computer applications should be integrated in each appropriate instructional unit.

 

Accounting IV (14013)

½ Credit

Grade 11-12 Prerequisite: Accounting I, II, and III

With the background of the accounting cycle, students will analyze and interpret financial information using computers and accounting software. Emphasis will be placed on decision-making in preparation for entry-level accounting positions.
